During my tenure of over two years at Noom, I was involved in a diverse array of projects spanning performance marketing, organic social media content, broadcast campaigns, and web asset creation. I was part of a dynamic team renowned for its high-output production of performance marketing materials tailored for various social channels. My contributions included the creation of hundreds of video assets, leveraging my skills to significantly impact our digital presence and audience engagement across platforms.
At Noom, I played a key role in the "YOUnique" broadcast campaign, designed to spotlight the distinct challenges and needs of individuals. This campaign comprised six distinct segments, each focusing on a different person, with commercials produced in both 15-second and 30-second formats. As a motion designer, my responsibility was to develop and implement a visual strategy that presented a diverse array of individuals, weaving together a tapestry of testimonials. This strategy aimed to highlight Noom's dedication to offering personalized support and solutions tailored to the unique journey of each user.
As part of the YOUnique broadcast campaign at Noom, I developed motion tests to explore a visual language that emphasized individuality and personal journeys. Using rounded-corner squares as a foundational element, I experimented with different animation styles—some moving horizontally, others transitioning through Z-space—to create a dynamic and engaging motion system. These tests played a key role in communicating ideas with stakeholders, helping to refine the campaign’s visual direction and ensure alignment before full production.
During my time on the Noom marketing team, I spearheaded the animation efforts and collaborated closely on design to create high-impact performance marketing videos for Facebook and Instagram. Over two years, I developed and executed hundreds of innovative concepts, each tailored to meet specific strategy goals and to engage and convert our audience. Each concept was crafted into 4-6 unique variants, tested to find the optimal performance variant.
At Noom, I created multiple lightweight, scalable animations for the website and app to enhance user engagement and interface aesthetics. Utilizing Lottie, I animated vector graphics and converted them into JSON file formats. This approach ensured small file sizes without sacrificing visual quality. The animations were seamlessly integrated into Noom’s platforms, resulting in improved load times and a more engaging user experience.
At Noom, I contributed to the development of a chatbot by creating animations for its various states to enhance user interaction and engagement. The project began with animating the introduction and listening states as a proof of concept. In these animations I incorporated realistic physics in the dynamics.
At Noom, I created multiple looping animations of the logo to enhance the brand's visual presence and optimize the app and website for a quicker user experience. Using Lottie, I animated various versions of the logo and converted them into lightweight JSON files.
